ACEM Fellowship Written Exam Course

Fellowship Written Practice Exam This is a  6 month course held on a weekly basis every Wednesday (10am - ~1pm), currently via Zoom to allow best opportunity for participation.  Fellowship teaching is provided by a number of the SMS including quite a few who are examiners for ACEM. The course is focused on preparation for the  written exam and is specifically for trainees intending to sit in the next 6 months. Consider it a ‘finishing school’ to enhance your exam answering technique and thereby maximise your chances of scoring marks by showing your knowledge. In order for this to be a beneficial process though, candidates need to have acquired the necessary expertise in all aspects covered in the syllabus. The course is not intended as a comprehensive review of  all aspects of the syllabus needed for successful completion of the written and MCQ exam.

Approximately 11 weeks prior to the written exam there is a mock written exam, which is held at Cliftons (actual site of the real exam), with a feedback session 3 weeks later. This aims to be the final indication of preparedness for the exam and is timed with the closing date for application to sit.

In order to optimise the benefit for all participants of the course, it is vital that the group is restricted to those who are seriously intending to and appropriate to sit the written exam. Therefore we advise that you have a discussion with your site DEMT and then contact the course co-ordinators  (Pourya Pouryahya & Ananth Sundaralingam) with the completed form below.

For all enquiries please contact the course co-ordinators.
