Skills Sessions

Skills day occurs on the 2nd Wednesday of term and typically occurs in the MCH Simulation space (level 5, Department of Paediatrics).  We aim to cover critical care procedures as well as mandatory skills.  It is a nice building block for the simulation based learning during the term. 
 
Using blended learning methods we provide you access to videos and pre-reading to make the learning on the day more hands on and practical.
 
We have had great follow up emails from trainees and colleague who have then used these in real patients with success, which provides much satisfaction to the teaching team.
