  • Transducer marker towards the patients L shoulder, identify the left and right atria and ventricles. The liver should be on the left hand side of the screen
  • Potential fluid collections are around the RA and RV free wall, the posterior LV and circumferential
  • Assess RV to LV size 
  • Assess RV and LV over all function, normal, abnormal, hyperdynamic
